The Town Clerk has announced that 5:00 PM on Friday, April 28th is the deadline to register to vote in order to be eligible to attend the Annual Town Meeting. The Annual Town Meeting will be held in Morse Auditorium at Canton High School on May 8th beginning at 7:00 PM.
You may register to vote by appearing in the Town Clerk’s Office, online through the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website at www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/ , or you may request to have a voter registration form mailed to you by calling the Clerk’s office at 781-821-5013. Completed forms may be left in the payment drop box in front of Town Hall and must be received by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 28th, or they may be returned by mail with a postmark no later than April 28th.
The Town Clerk’s Office, located on the first floor of Town Hall at 801 Washington Street, will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on April 28th. Town Hall is handicap accessible.
If you are already registered to vote, there is no need to re-register unless your name or address has changed.
