Please be aware that controlled blasting will occur on Route 138 in Canton (500 Turnpike St) starting on Sept 19th and will continue for 7-10 days between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. Traffic will be halted 3 or 4 times during those hours in both directions for about 3-5 mins each time. Traffic will be controlled by a Police detail. Canton Fire Department will be on site to monitor blasting. The work is being done to prepare the site for the construction of a new gas station.
