The Town Clerk has announced that the last day to register to vote for the April 5th, 2022 Annual Town Election will be Wednesday, March 16th, 2022.
You may register to vote by appearing at the Town Clerk’s office, register to vote online through the state's Online Voter Registration System or you may request to have a voter registration form mailed to you by calling the Clerk’s office at 781-821-5013. Completed forms may be brought to the Clerk’s office during normal business hours or they may be left in the payment box in front of Town Hall. Forms must be submitted no later than 8:00pm on March 16th or they may be returned by mail with a postmark no later than March 16th.
If you are registered to vote at your current address there is no need to re-register.
The polls will remain open from 7:00am to 8:00pm on election day.
The polling locations for the April 5th Annual Town Election are as follows:
Precincts 1 and 6 Canton High School, Rodman Bldg, 960 Washington St.
Precincts 2 and 7 Senior Center, 500 Pleasant St. (new polling location)
Precinct 3 Blue Hill Regional School, 800 Randolph St.
Precincts 4 and 5 John F. Kennedy School, 100 Dedham St.
Early voting will not be available for the 2022 Annual Town Election, however, absentee voting is available to any voter who will be unable to vote at the polls on election day due to absence from the town during polling hours (7:00am to 8:00pm), physical disability or religious belief. Completed Absentee Ballot Applications may be brought to the Clerk’s office, left in the payment box in front on Town Hall, mailed to the Town Clerk’s Office or submitted via email to elections@town.canton.ma.us
