The polls will remain open on election day from 7:00AM to 8:00PM.
Voting will take place at the usual polling locations, as follows:
Precincts 1 and 6 Canton High School, 900 Washington Street
Precinct 2 Dean S. Luce Elementary School, 45 Independence Street
Precinct 3 Blue Hills Regional School, 800 Randolph Street
Precincts 4 and 5 J. F. Kennedy Elementary School, 100 Dedham Street
The following question will appear on the ballot:
Shall the Town of Canton be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one half so called the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to acquire for general municipal purposes the real estate consisting of land and buildings known as St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, located at 1860 Washington Street, Assessor’s Map 64, parcel 37, in the Town of Canton, and to pay for consultants (such as but not limited to engineers, surveyors, appraisers, financial advisors and the like) as in the Board’s judgment are advantageous to assist the Town in carrying out the foregoing?
