[ARCHIVED] Town Election Voter Registration and Absentee Voting

Town Clerk Tracy Kenney has announced that the last day to register to vote for the April 6th, 2021 Annual Town Election will be Wednesday, March 17th, 2021. 

You may register to vote by appearing at Town Hall by appointment only, register to vote online through the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website, or you may request to have a Voter Registration Form mailed to you by calling the Clerk’s office at 781-821-5013.   Completed forms may be left in the payment drop box in front of Town Hall and must be received by March 17th or they may be returned by mail with a postmark no later than March 17th.  

If you are registered to vote at your current address there is no need to re-register.

The polls will remain open from 7:00am to 8:00pm on election day. 

The polling locations for the April 6th Annual Town Election are as follows:  

   Precincts 1 and 6           Canton High School, Rodman Building, 960 Washington St.

   Precinct 2                        Dean S. Luce Elementary School, 45 Independence St.

   Precinct 3                        Blue Hill Regional School, 800 Randolph St.

   Precincts 4 and 5           John F. Kennedy School, 100 Dedham St.

Legislation has not yet approved no excuse Vote by Mail for the 2021 Annual Town Election.  Absentee voting is available to any voter who will be unable to vote at the polls on election day due to absence from the town during polling hours (7:00am to 8:00pm), physical disability or religious belief.  Completed Absentee Applications may be left in the payment box in front of Town Hall, mailed to the Town Clerk's office or submitted via email to elections@town.canton.ma.us
