Mass Audubon, the Planning Department, and the Town of Canton Sustainability Committee will be holding the first of three Climate Resiliency at Home Virtual Workshops on February 24th at 7:00 pm. The focus of the first workshop will be Know Your Climate Hazards. The interactive workshop will cover Climate Change 101, Climate Impacts and Hazards, Climate Resilience Mitigation and Adaption and Climate Solutions. The workshop is FREE and open to the public. Featuring experts from Mass Audubon, including an appearance by one of the many owls who reside in Canton, the workshop will help Canton residents learn about steps they can take to make their homes and local community resilient to the effects of climate change. Participants will be entered into a raffle from Mass Audubon. Prizes include a $200.00 Wegmans gift card, generously donated by Wegmans and Gardening with Native Plant Classes, donated by Mass Audubon. The workshop will be held via Zoom.
