Fire Chief Charles Doody and Police Chief Kenneth Berkowitz wanted to update you on the Pleasant St. road closure. At this time, Clean Harbors has mitigated any environmental risk, Verizon reports that they should have the new poles set shortly. However, there is a lot of work to do to switch the wires over permanently to the new poles. We expect the road will have to remain closed while they do this. We will update you as we get new information
