Expanded Rebate Program in the Neponset Valley
The Towns of Canton, Foxborough, Sharon, and the Dedham-Westwood Water District have joined forces to improve water efficiency across their communities through a new rebate program.
From now through June 1, participating communities will offer an expanded rebate program to replace outdated toilets and clothes washers with more efficient models. Water saving showerheads, faucet aerators, and rain sensors will be available to residents at no cost.
The rebate program will be coordinated by the Neponset River Watershed Association a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to cleaning up and protecting the Neponset River and its watershed. This special program is made possible in part by a grant from the Mass Department of Environmental Protection.
The goal of the program is to reduce water, sewer, and energy bills, while protecting local waterways and wildlife, through greater water efficiency.
Rebate terms and conditions can be found at www.neponset.org/rebates or by contacting the participating water departments. Grant funding ends on June 1, so residents are encouraged to move quickly to take advantage of this opportunity.
