MassDOT Schedules Temporary Overnight Closures of Dedham Street
Roadway in the vicinity of the bridge over I-95 will be closed
CANTON – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced that a section of Dedham Street near the bridge over I-95 in Canton will be closed to all vehicular traffic during overnight hours beginning on the evening of Monday, November 18.
The closures will be implemented nightly during the overnight hours of 9 p.m., through 5 a.m., on Monday, November 18, Tuesday, November 19, Wednesday, November 20, and Thursday, November 21. These overnight traffic will allow crews to safely and effectively conduct necessary construction operations.
A detour route will be in place for travelers during these times. Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers along the detour route.
Drivers who are traveling through the impacted areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
