The Town of Canton has received a request from MassDOT and SPS New England, the Dedham St. project contractor, for permission to erect a traffic detour that will close Dedham Street over Route 95 during the hours of 9 PM to 5 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night for a period of 3-4 weeks. The detour is proposed to start July 28th. The detour is needed to allow SPS to install manholes along the route. The proposed detour may be seen on the Town website, https://www.town.canton.ma.us/ . The matter will be discussed at the July 23rd Board of Selectmen’s meeting.
