Canton Master Plan 2035
We’re coming back to you! The Master Plan Steering Committee is sponsoring its second public input event. This time it’s an Open House, where you can stop by when it is convenient for you. There is no formal presentation. Two dates are set at the Canton Public Library: Wednesday, February 27, from 6:30-8:30 pm and Saturday, March 2, from 10 am – 12 pm. Snow days are set at the same times following week, if needed (Thursday, March 7, and Saturday, March 9).
The Open House is a part of the larger public input process in updating the Canton Master Plan. An Open House format provides the space to display information and gives attendees the time they need to understand the issues and ask questions. The Open House will be organized by individual topics of the Master Plan as well as focusing on the Downtown and Route 138 areas. Each station will have information and questions that require public input. You can focus on what interests you most or visit all the stations. You should plan to spend an hour visiting stations, providing input, asking questions, and perhaps socializing with your neighbors.
Like the public workshop in October, the Open House is a family-friendly event. There will be supervised activities for kids and light snacks will be served.
