The Town of Canton is starting the paving project this week for the York Street area. The first phase of paving is Helen Drive, Wayside Lane, Indian Lane, York Street to the water tank and from York Street to Ledgewood Road to Waterman Road. They will be removing castings on Thursday 7/19/18 and to start the grinding on roadways on Friday weather permitting.
Sidewalks on Wayside Lane are getting replaced.
Sidewalks on Helen Drive will be getting removed as Helen Drive is wide enough for people to walk safely on the side of roadway.
At all times residents will be able to access their houses. This project is projected to take two (2) months to complete.
