TRAFFIC ADVISORY
From Sunday, June 10, to Friday, June 22, night work will be required between the hours of 8 p.m., and 5 a.m., each evening for demolition activities and pile driving operations for the Amtrak Bridge. The work will take place at the Neponset River Bridge and Amtrak Bridge from University Ave to Dedham Street. The eastbound lane of Dedham Street will be closed to create a safe work zone during these overnight hours. During daytime hours, both directions of Dedham Street will be open to traffic.
During the night shifts, alternating traffic will be coordinated by Canton Police Department details to maintain traffic in both directions. Motorists should exercise caution and allow additional time for their trip during operations. All operations are subject to change due to weather conditions or Amtrak track outage delays.
