The Town of Canton, acting through its Board of Selectmen, is seeking proposals for the restaurant or event-venue use & lease of one or a portion of one of two buildings at the Paul Revere Heritage Site (PRHS). The restaurant or event-venue establishment will be located in one of two buildings, or a portion of one building, in conjunction with the siting of a separate, local history museum/community arts center or other associated and permitted use, also to be located in one of the two buildings at the PRHS. The PRHS is proposed to become a preeminent historical and cultural destination on the South Shore, celebrating the history and life of Paul Revere as an industrialist. The museum, cultural and event venue will be the backdrop for a year-round program of events that will attract families and residents to the site. 272 housing units are being constructed adjacent to the PRHS. Proposals are due in the office of the Finance Director, Memorial Hall, 801 Washington St., Canton MA 02021 no later than 11:00 AM on December 22, 2017. This contract is subject to award by the Board of Selectmen. Proposal packages are only available via email from Judith Levitsky at jlevitsky@town.canton.ma.us. The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive minor informalities or technical deficiencies, or allow the Proposer to correct them. The Town also reserves the right to accept any proposal that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town of Canton and to negotiate the terms and conditions of any proposal leading to execution of a lease contract.
