The Town of Canton has been notified that several residents were contacted last night and informed that the Canton water was contaminated. The caller further stated, that a water department employee may be responding to their house. This is a another form of a phone scam that targets residents. Although we deem this highly unlikely, if someone does come to your house call the Canton Police immediately and will be happy to respond.
