At the Board of Selectmen’s meeting held on Tuesday, January, 10, 2017, there was a discussion concerning the damaged trees at Sydeman Park on Washington Street. The Board of Selectmen voted to have the adjacent property owner pay to have the stumps removed, the 8 large arborvitae (10' - 12') and 1 dogwood (10') trees replaced and to add yards of loam and mulch. A landscaper was consulted in determining the materials to be used. The details of the replacement effort will be addressed directly with the adjacent property owner.
