On Monday, August 15, 2016 P.J Keating will begin milling Pleasant St at the Canton Reservoir. P.J Keating will then move to the roundabout and mill from there to Sherman St. The milling process is expected to take (2) two days to complete. On Tuesday, August 16, 2016 they will install the binder coarse of asphalt on Morris Dr then install a leveling coarse of asphalt on Pleasant St . On Wednesday or Thursday they will install the finish coat of asphalt on Morris Dr then the section of Pleasant St by the reservoir. On Thursday or Friday they will then install the finish pavement on Pleasant St between Sherman St and the roundabout. During the paving portion of the Pleasant St project there will need to be some sort of road shut down to protect the new asphalt. The only traffic allowed on Pleasant St will be to the residents who live on Pleasant St and Pleasant View Dr. All other streets that connect off Pleasant St can use alternate routes to get around that section of Pleasant St. The recreation bus going from Pequitside Farm and the Armando Center to the pool will need to detour down Independence St to Prospect St to Lawrence St on the paving days. The Senior Center bus as well.
Police and Fire dept will have total access to all areas of the work zones.
