On Sunday , November 1st 10 Canton Firefighters were honored for the service to the Community in ceremony held at the American Legion in Canton.
The Fire Service Commission honors the Commonwealth’s Firefighters with a “Service Award” beginning at 20 years and then every 5 years thereafter. Pictured are the 20 and 25 year recipients for the Canton Fire Department. Presenting the awards are Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, John Connolly and Deputy Chief Scott Johnson:

These 10 firefighters have served the community with professionalism, compassion and bravery for over two decades and continue provide leadership to our younger members. The event was attended by 100 people made up of current and retired firefighters and their families.
