EMT Certification Class through Blue Hills Regional Continuing Education Program - Cost is $1,000. Classes are scheduled from 6 to 10 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning March 3rd and ending July 7th. Books and supplies not included.
This program, approved by the Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services, will train you to meet all requirements for certification as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician. Once Nationally Certified you may apply for your Massachusetts State Certification. Program Requirements You must be a high school graduate or have GED to take the EMT Program. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to take the national certification exam.
Class attendance is 100% mandatory. This is a national/state requirement and cannot be circumvented. Any missed classes must be made up by the end of the program in order to take the National Practical and Written exam. To register, go to Learn More About BHR.
