James Marshall is the Work Group Foreman for the Equipment Group of Public Works Department. The Equipment Group is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, and repair of the Town's fleet which includes approximately 200 vehicles and motorized equipment consisting of:
- Cars
- Heavy equipment
- Motorcycles
- Trucks
- Vans
Preventative Maintenance
Equipment Work Group staff of 3 is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of town's vehicles and equipment, ordering and installing parts, and performing tire repair and tire replacement.
Fleet Management Data Base
The Work Group Staff also maintains a fleet management data base that maintains vehicle inventory, tracks fuel usage, schedules preventative maintenance programs, and tracks individual vehicle and equipment repair cost.
