Mission and Goals
The Health Insurance Advisory Committee was established pursuant to MGL ch. 32B Section 3. The committee shall provide recommendations on group health insurance plans to the Select Board and provide information to and recommendations from municipal employees on group health plan benefits.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are currently four vacancies on this committee, but none for citizens at large. This committee consists of full time benefits eligible employees of the Town of Canton of the Canton Public Schools and in a bargaining unit. There is one position for a Town of Canton or Canton Public Schools retiree representative. All of these terms are for 1 year and are appointed by the Select Board.
