Withhold pre-taxed dollars from your paycheck to pay for health-related expenses and dependent care expenses.
Please note that this enrollment is for a one-time 6-month benefit period (July 1 through December 31, 2023) in order to transition into a calendar-year plan (January 1 through December 31, 2024).
The pro-rated maximum contributions for this period are:
$1,525 - Medical Spending Account
$2,500 - Dependent Care Account
If interested, employees must enroll in a flexible spending account during open enrollment - unless you’re new to the Town of Canton / Canton Public Schools or experiences a change in family status. Please contact your Human Resources Administrator if you think you have a change in family status throughout the year that may meet the criteria of a qualifying event.
Again, this open enrollment period is effective July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.
Open enrollment for the 2024 calendar year plan will be in November 2023.
