Offices will be open for business on Monday, December 1, 2014...The Yard Waste Recycling Center will be closing on Saturday November 29,2014.  It will reopen for the collection of undecorated Christmas trees and wreaths for the first two weeks in January...Pleasant St Roundabout construction is expected to be completed by November 21, 2014.  Thank you for your patience...Work on the Shepard Pond Dam is ongoing...

General requirements for Elderly exemptions:
   1. Age 65 as of July 1st of the year you are applying for.  

   2. Income from all sources less than $30,000.00 if married and $20,000.00 if single.

   3. Total assets ( stocks, bonds, IRA's, money in the bank etc.) $55,000.00 if married and 
        $40,000.00 if single.

Personal Property Forms of List are due March 1st of every year.

The Assessors are charged with assessing all property at full and fair cash value via sales, inspections through building permits and abatements. Motor Vehicle abatements must be filed with the Board of Assessors. We also set the tax rates for all real and personal property parcels.

Valuation information of real estate can be ascertained through this web site by map/parcel or street address. Descriptions of the property can be viewed in the Assessors annex. 

Fee schedule: 

$ 1.00 per page for copies of computer printouts
$ 2.00 for a copy of the tax map.
$ 5.00 for a plot plan
$ 5.00 for a copy of the deed

$ 10.00 for residential abutters list
$ 25.00 for commercial abutters list
$ 100.00 per computer listing by Map/Lot, street or name

$ 125.00 for a set of tax maps.
