Where can I dispose of my yard waste?

Yard waste is defined as leaves, grass clippings, shrub trimmings, plant cuttings, as well as wood waste from bushes and trees (less than 1 inch in diameter). Non-acceptable items are dirt, bamboo, sand, rocks, stumps or trunks. Brush must be tied and bundled in lengths of 3ft or less. Residents can bring their yard waste to the Yard Waste Recycling Facility located at 99 Pine Street and must purchase a Yard Waste Recycling Sticker for $10.00 either at the Yard Waste Recycling Facility or at the Town Hall at the DPW office.   Starting December 20, 2017 the facility will be open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.  The facility will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. There is no charge to drop your Christmas tree off for the month of January.  Normal hours for the facility will begin on April 2, 2018
